Hello! Welcome to my blog.
This is where I chronicle my thoughts on the various things that interest me. I am intrinsically into people, what makes them tick and why. I love that there are so many types of people out there in the world. That’s probably the psychology major and sociology buff in me talking.
I’m also into communication and in particular, I love writing and good conversation. Which normally comes with good company.
Design(using both digital+traditional media) has always been a large part of me, and you can find some of my illustrations here. In my spare time I love dabbling in craftwork (aka making stuff with your hands) and Photoshop. Drop me a note if you’d got any cool projects or would like to collaborate on something! It really doesn’t matter where in the world you are!
Education is another pet topic- I love learning and I never believed it should be largely confined to a physical classroom.
I am also interested in all things digital and social media!

Design wise, I have worked on a variety of projects including flash animation for E cards, Web advertisement banners and websites. I was a 3D lighting and texture artist for a Canadian children’s cartoon series and local 3D animation films. Other broadcast animation experience include creating background plates for TV advertisements in Singapore. I like to experiment with combining the various forms of animation, and have created hybrid works combining both 2D and 3D animation for speaker conferences.
Recent projects include designing graphic design, marketing collaterals, conference brochures and handouts, as well as Powerpoint presentation slides for various MNCs and social organizations.

blogging begins @
I have been blogging since 2000, took a 3 year hiatus, and haven’t stopped since 2003. Have experimented with different platforms and hosts since then, used a blog as a personal diary, my fansite update mechanism (too inefficient to FTP every single update) in the good old days of html, horrible gif animations and limited web bandwidth and space. Google was not yet a verb. People used to complain about having to make sure their websites were compatible with Netscape or Internet Explorer. I think things have gotten slightly better since, despite the proliferation of browsers. I’m thinking of all my old homes..Geocities, Tripod, envy.nu, and the likes. Pop up banners and intrusive advertisements really make website frames impossible to use….I have been hosted by other fans around the world, and up to now, have been blessed enough to have my amazing host have me on board.
I’d like to think that my time making customized fan-girl wallpapers in the early days has contributed immensely to my ease and comfort in blogosphere and the interwebz, and an undying love for and great headstart in learning Photoshop. Penning down my thoughts makes writing almost an innate habit now, and especially a breeze when the topic is close to home.
I guess I am a geek. However, I haven’t quite reached that level when I can assemble my own computer from spare parts. Yet.
