I don't think Google will go down to FB that easily. Alot of IM out there (including me) are still depending on Google to drive traffic and learning to pacify their search engine.

@Daryl: beats me! why pple would search "Facebook search" is also odd because none of the results that come back are particularly useful ( to me at least)

@Cullen: mmm i think some mobile devices won't work like actual browsers, aka if you type in a search term in the url bar, it won't work. (it really should though, would help loads)

Sometimes end up typing URLs into search bars on mobile devices where the distinction between the search bar and the web address bar aren't present. I'm not sure if anyone else has the same issue.

Just wanted to comment on the "entering search term instead of URL" part. Like "Facebook login" is the top related search for Facebook and I never get why people would search that!

I even blogged about that sometime back and people actually reached my site searching for "Facebook login" - what's up with that?!?!
