I have to partially agree with you, especially on the point of the new NEW FB being frenetic. Ever tried to filter your friends into sets though? That might work to stream the updates of only those people you want to keep in touch with! I especially hate the ads on the side, which only add to clutter. I don’t like the new look, but the reason I haven’t been on FB in a week is that the functionality has changed. It doesn’t provide the service it did before. Very sad, because it provided a very useful service to me before: the ability to casually socialize with people I know. It used to have a block party feel.
