A strange juxtaposition of sorts

17 November 2008 6 Comments

…A strange juxtaposition of thoughts.

I don’t know – It could be just me, but seeing this at the front of the papers…

..followed by this…

and a zoom in…

….triggers a whole lot of incongruent thoughts and feelings.

They probably wouldn’t have known when they bought that ad space in the papers, but it is, nonetheless, a rather unfortunate flow of information.
Or is it?

    Hi Prof,
It was actually from the papers a couple of days ago. I really find it ironic how their “greatest gift this season” translates in reality!

Oh goodness, I sure hope all my pals at DBS survive through this. Their corp comms efforts ought to be questioned. Advertising vs. keeping an employee. That’s the impression I’m getting anyways.

Hey Ams! I guess it was really unfortunate timing for their ad to be in the papers…when the layoffs were pretty much grabbing all the attention. Not something they could have foreseen, I guess.
