What’s your message? Make it simple.

Brief “What if there were no stop signs… and a major corporation was charged with inventing one?
I just wanted to share this video off Youtube, which is worth a watch if you’ve got time to spare, or are looking for a distraction from work (…don’t deny it now, you know that spreadsheet in front of you is not as alluring as you try and make it to be).

The scenario depicted is very true, and sadly real, as anyone who’s ever answered to multiple clients can testify to!

I think that there is nothing wrong with a simple, yet elegantly communicated message. Too often, we are guilty of pulling out all the bells and whistles, thinking that it is the only way to break out of the clutter and garner some eyeballs.

It’s time to put more effort into simplifying what you have to say, especially with time as such a precious commodity nowadays. No one is going to stand there for a good hour pondering what on earth your advertisement was trying to communicate.

This is great! The corporate world is not the only place that thinks this way and comes up with similar solutions. Ha Ha so true; so sad.

Haha, I thought it was hilarious too! Especially since I’ve been on the receiving end of similar instructions.
